So I had a lot planned for May. Unfortunately due to the COVID shutdowns we have had to make some adjustments.
The good news is we have been given permission to open!! We will be taking appointments starting May 11. Of course over the past 7 weeks a lot of appointments have been missed and those with appointments during the shut down will be given priority appointments. Once we have those rescheduled we will call our waiting list. To be put on our appointment list text 270-670-2367 or leave us a voicemail with your pets name, your name and number.
Grooming will look different once we are open. We will be doing no contact drop off. For the safety of us, your pets and yourself you will need to arrive promptly at your appointment time. IF YOU HAVE BEEN ILL PLEASE STAY HOME. We will unlock the front door and ask that you take all of your pets collars, harnesses, leashes etc off, place your dog into one of the kennels in the front room and take the collars etc with you. Once you have left I will lock the door retrieve your pet from the kennel, put them directly into the tub. The kennel and front door will be sanitized for the next person. We ask that you wash your hands, or use sanitizer or gloves during drop off and pick up for your own protection. It’s not required. There will be a trash can outside the front door to dispose of your gloves. We are trying to get some sanitizer as well. The governor is also requesting you wear a mask. It’s not required for customers, but it does make staying open easier.
Once your pet is ready to be picked up we will send you a invoice and a text. You will need to pay online. If this is not possible let us know so we can make arrangements for payment. You will need to arrive promptly at your scheduled pick up time. Pick up will be the reverse of drop off. We will be behind the half walls during pick up to maintain physical distancing. If you have a mobility issue please let us know ahead of time and we can arrange a curbside pick up. This will require a few extra steps to ensure physical distancing and prevent escapees.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to take new clients. I expect by mid June we can open up new client requests. If you are an existing client with a new pet, I will be able to schedule you.
DUE TO NEW INFORMATION GIVEN THE DROP OFF PROTOCOL WILL BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT PLEASE SEE HOMEPAGE FOR UPDATES
For the past many months I have been planning for a big surprise in a May. Due to new restrictions and cut backs we have had to tone it down. But that won’t bring me down!
First! It’s a Birthday Theme!!
I can’t believe we are are finishing up our 5th year in business! I am so excited to reach this milestone. We had our usual Customer Appreciation Day planned for the 23rd, with a few extra things. Instead I will be doing a weekly raffle. Each week we are open everyone can enter their name into a raffle for a $50 grooming certificate. A drawing will be done on May 16th, May 23rd, and May 30th. We will offer our gift certificate sale as usual from the 11th to the 23rd. Sign up for email updates to participate.
I am excited to get back to work. I’ve really missed grooming.
P.S. I hope you have been brushing and combing your dogs! ❤️
