The weather has turned and there is some chill in the air. I love the fall colors, but not the temps.

Our Thanksgiving photo booth is up through November 28th. Photos are free and are done as we can. We try to get as many photos as possible but our schedule and your pets mood plays a role in whether or not we get a good photo.


I try to make our salon as accommodating as possible for everyone. I was out running errands yesterday and had to use the restroom. The establishment I was in said they weren’t allowing customers to use the restroom due to COVID. While I understand the caution it was absurd. First, how can anyone expect people to run errands all day and not use the restroom. Second, hand washing is extremely important right now. I want to let clients know our restroom is readily available.
Regarding COVID. The new numbers from Frankfort show Hardin Co in the red as far as Covid cases. As I said above hand washing is extremely important. We have hand sanitizer as well as soap and water. Feel free to use it. We have plenty. We have also have our COVID guidelines posted on our FB page and our booking site, front door and the website

🦠 We are by appointment only except for nail trim services. The door is locked during business hours. Appointments are staggered to minimize the amount of clients in the salon at a time. We are doing drop off and pick up as normal, but using social distancing. We will unlock the door for you when you ring the doorbell. Give us a moment to get the door, we probably have a dog in our hands and takes us a minute to get to the front.
🦠 Please pay by debit/credit card or cash.. We do not accept checks.
🦠 Please be patient with grooming times.
🦠 The governor now requires you wear a mask 😷 but we allow you to make that decision for yourself. We do not know your exemptions and will not invade your privacy. Wearing gloves, using sanitizer and/or washing hands and respecting personal space will reduce the risk of spreading germs.
🦠 We are doing all that is necessary to provide a safe grooming atmosphere for your pets and our clients as well as ourselves

We try to do Customer Appreciation Day 4 times a year, we missed two due to COVID but I feel we can safely stagger nail trims and self washed and we will allow online orders for gift cards and retail. Instead of stopping by to enter you will be able to text us the day of to have your name put in the running. We don’t want anyone to have to miss out on our #SmallBusinessSaturday event.

 

Some of you may have noticed a few changes in our lobby area. We are expanding our retail selections. We have new displays coming and more goodies on their way. Our new styles of leashes and collars have been a hit, and the new skin products have had great reviews. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook or stop in see all our current and new items.

 

The holidays are coming up fast. Only 8 weeks left in 2020. If your pets are needing a holiday appointment or are just due for grooming in general schedule now. In order to accommodate the high demand for grooming I need to have our appointments made in advance. This allows me to fill as many spots as possible without running around like a crazy lady trying to make everyone happy. I do prefer online or appointments via text so I have a way to refer back to appointment details.
